I have not tried to attach to my iMac or Mac Mini yet (at work right now). Even the Contour software does not recognize that the camera is.
I have a ContourHD 1080p wearable video camera. This camera was recognized and mounted by my 2012 MBAir and ML, but with Mavericks, it is simply not recognized anymore when connected via USB. At a minimum - it should mount the card in the camera as an external USB Drive/Media. It isn't even doing that. I have not tried to attach to my iMac or Mac Mini yet (at work right now).
I have connected to a Windows7 box, and the camera is recognized, and mounts the card in File Explorer in Windows - so I know the camera is working, etc.
Contour is no more (closed in Aug 2013), so there's no support from that angle, and they haven't released firmware for this camera since 2010, and that latest firmware is already installed. What I can't understand is why it is no longer recognized as an external drive under Mavericks, but was under 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8. Even the Contour software does not recognize that the camera is attached - so it appears to be some USB dri
